The Vida Nueva Medical Mission in Honduras is accepting applicants for the 2010 team.
The Vida Nueva Medical Mission holds 6 clinics in Honduran villages, where medical services are scarce. We typically see 400 to 600 people per clinic and treat general illnesses like sore throats, blood pressure and skin or eye inflammation. We will stay overnight in at least two villages, Tutlue and El Portillo, in order to see as many people as we can. Our home base will be the Humuya Inn in Tegucigalpa and we will continue our wonderful relationship with Santidad, the church in Tegus. There is plenty to do for both medical and non-medical volunteers.

Dates of the mission are Nov. 3 through 13, Cost is $1,800. This will cover all expenses except souvenirs. A deposit of $350 is due Aug. 1, so please confirm that you are interested before that date!
