The Indiana Coalition Against Legalized Gambling is an ecumenical group of volunteer social activists who wish to curb the expansion of legalized gambling here in Indiana. The group was formed by United Methodist Bishop White to originally combat the coming of riverboat gambling to Indiana in the early 1990s. Since the advent of casino gambling in Indiana, ICALG has monitored legalized gambling and advocated against gambling legislation proposed by the State’s General Assembly. It works with the National Coalition Against Legalized Gambling. For more information, contact Dan Gangler at 317-924-1321 or by e-mail at dan.gangler@inumc.org.
