The Rev. Aleze Michelle Fulbright is a native of Tulsa, Okla. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Currently, Aleze is a doctoral candidate at Houston Graduate School of Theology, where she plans to graduate December 2014 with a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership degree.
Aleze has spent most of her time working in the field of accounting for several major corporations in and around the Dallas metroplex. Before entering full-time ministry in 2008, she was the Assistant Controller for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Inc. Aleze is an Ordained Elder in the North Texas Conference. She came to her Indiana appointment as the Indiana Conference Director of Leadership Development from the North Texas Conference where she held the position of Associate Director for the Center for Leadership Development; Aleze also has served as the Associate Pastor at First United Methodist-Commerce and Campus Minister for Wesleyan Campus Ministry at Texas A&M University in Commerce.
Aleze’s joy in life is her 17-year-old son Myron Fisher Jr., who is beginning his academic and athletic college career at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. Aleze Fulbright has a passion empowering people to recognize and live out their God-giveness with purpose. She serves in the Indiana Conference of The United Methodist Church to develop fruitful laity and clergy leaders.
