Camp Tamarack, a Boy Scout summer camp at Wood Lake Scout Reservation in southern Michigan, needs a chaplain for its 2014 camping season from June 8 to July 19. This is a great opportunity for summer ministry for retired pastors or seminary students. The Camp Chaplain will be responsible for leading nondenominational chapel services in the new lakeside chapel, encouraging scouts to earn religious awards and promoting the spiritual welfare of the campers and staff. Scouting experience is preferred, but not required. Wood Lake Scout Reservation is a beautiful setting with numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation. The Camp Chaplain will be provided housing and meals for the chaplain and spouse in addition to a modest salary or stipend for the camp season.
